We can totally understand you are so sad that the bottom of your shoes melted due to some unknown reason. While the shoes on your hands may have been tested and refined a million times before they were produced. And every pair of shoes we ship out of the warehouse is subject to strict quality inspection. So, if it is normal for running and other sports, the shoes will only show normal wear and tear and will never melt away. If the rubber bottom is used, the minimum temperature resistance is about 80 degrees Celsius. Normally rubber just ages not melts.
